BATTLING BAD BLOOD
A FUNDRAISER TO FIGHT BLOOD CANCERS
Iron Bridge friend and fellow Charleston CrossFitter, Alex Miller, was diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage II Cancer in 2018. Thanks to dedicated research, advancements, and funds, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma has become one of the more curable cancers. While receiving 12 chemotherapy treatments to fight off the blood disease, Alex continued to attend CrossFit classes and stay as active as possible. He beat cancer and continues to CrossFit in the community.
Having spent more than eight years as an active crossfitter (six of which in Charleston), Alex has wodded with many of the athletes and gyms in the area. In 2018 we partnered with Alex to host a WOD to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Charleston. The first year we raised more than $2,000 to help fund research. We're excited to continue the event and host the annual Battling Bad Blood fundraiser.

Join us for the 3rd Annual 'Battling Bad Blood' WOD to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
To adhere to social distancing, this year we are limiting the number of people inside the location working out at a time, but we're expanding the number of locations. If you have a fever, or are not feeling well - please do NOT attend. Thank you!

-Teams of 2 (any gender mix)
-16 teams per hour time slot (8 inside, 8 outside)
-$20 per person ($40 per team) - all funds will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

25 Minute AMRAP - One person working inside, one outside. Partners switch once the outside work is complete.
